Born in the late 80’s Mc Jessy was raised in Egoji Village, Meri County. He came to Nairobi as a young focused man who was ambitious and knew what he wanted t o be.
Jessy joined college and got a Degree in communication at Daystar University. He immediately landed a job at the Standard Group KTN as a News Anchor on KTN Breakfast Show.
MY JOURNEY: How it all began…
Jessy begun his career as an actor and MC in Church. He blossomed during the Youth Alive conferences and stood out as a standby MC and the “Funny Man” in every conference.
Dan Ndambuki “Churchil” one of his mentors, has been instrumental in bringing up Jessy’s talent. He joined “Churchill Live” crew of comedians and cut a niche for himself as the funny and witty comedian and MC on the live shoot of the Churchill Show.
MC Jessy has always had a relentless drive to succeed since he was a young man. After establishing himself as one of the best stand-up comics in the business, Jessy has hosted award-winning television shows, become a credible dramatic actor and with the above milestones he is reflecting his razor-sharp intelligence, utter fearlessness and a relentless need to keep innovating.
MC Jessy ‘s Career:
MC Jessy is currently a Radio and TV host on both Breakfast Show and Churchill Raw on NTV respectively.
As a Professional MC, he has grown to host and entertain known personalities and government officials in both private and corporate functions.
Presently he is the Direct at Brandface Media Limited, a communication and advertising company.
MC Jessy is an astute champion for children and youth rights. He is the Founder and Director of “I Care Initiative”, a body that supports children with Autism.
Jessy holds a monthly forum in various counties for the youth to discuss career development in arts, leadership, integrity and other issues affecting the Kenyan society.
He is also the ambassador for the larger Meru County, a title given by the community due to his contribution and identity with them.
